Aside from strong character and sense of achievement, you have to excel in science and math. College courses on and off navy school like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and nuclear physics are all great passes to enter the U.S. Navy nuclear power program. And if you’re lucky to get bachelor’s or a master’s degree in the Naval Nuclear Power School, you’ll start receiving salary while you study.
