New Ships Built for Cruise Liners

Although the rest of the world’s constructions are slowing down, it’s not the same story when it comes to new ships construction for cruise liners. The gargantuan cost of constructing new cruise ships did not deter liners, old and new, to build even bigger and grander boat for cruise fans. Among the new additions to cruise ships this 2010 are Costa Deliziosa, Celebrity Eclipse, and Norwegian Epic, which are all rolling off the dock for the first time in spring 2010. Though you might have gone to the destinations these new ships will go, but you have yet to experience a new kind of thrill onboard each.

The Costa Deliziosa

Costa, one of the leading cruise liners in the world, acquired the Costa Deliziosa last February 5, 2010, which is destined to the Arabian Gulf for its maiden voyage. Taking a hint from its name, the Costa Deliziosa will delight all your senses onboard with sumptuous gourmet meals and lavish buffets, wellness spa, everyday pleasure activities, shows, and 5 star comfort cabins and suites. The first ports to be graced by Costa Deliziosa are the ports in United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Bahrain leaving for its maiden voyage from the Port of Dubai.

The Celebrity Eclipse

The Celebrity Eclipse shall be inaugurated come April 26, 2010 after its sea trials in February 2010. Meyer Werft in Germany built this ship for Celebrity Cruises, which operates cruise ships to the Caribbean Islands, and South and North America. Celebrity Eclipse carries her own manicured lawn on her highest deck giving you a chance to experience a country club atmosphere in the middle of the ocean. And aside from the superb restaurant cuisines, you can also sample choice vintage and young wines from around the world in its Nappa Valley vineyard inspired cellarmasters.

The Norwegian Epic

The newest addition to Norwegian Cruise Line is the Norwegian Epic, which will come on May 2010. Norwegian Cruise Line promised a never before experienced cruise onboard the Epic with its Freestyle Cruising. The cruise will feature the very first real ice bar at sea together with its nightlife events and clubs. Norwegian Cruise Line will carry its famous active and festive cruise style onboard the Norwegian Epic. Expect outdoor and indoor activities like wall climbing, Aqua Park, sports complex, bowling alleys, fitness center for the day and hot party for the night.
