In Detroit, in the year 1959, A man by the name of C.N. Ray, starting working in his garage, in order to create a small runabout type boat, that was made almost entirely from fiberglass. Today, Sea Ray is one of the largest boat manufacturers worldwide, constructing all types of pleasure ships, and has been for more than 50 years.
