A High-end Dinghy Tender
For a high-end yacht, only another high-end dinghy tender will do to match power and grandeur of a multimillion boat. And leading the luxury dinghy tender category is the Williams Performance Tender based in Oxfordshire, England. Just this February, 2010, the company emerged successful in the yachting and water sports trade fair in Dusseldorf, Germany, which was attended by representatives from 60 different countries. Williams’ 505 Turbojet D yacht tender was the star of the fair soaking camera flashes from press and raking deals from high-end yacht owners. Other popular models from Williams include the 285 Turbojet, 325 Turbojet, and the 445 Turbojet.
The 505 Turbojet D
Currently, the 505 Turbojet D luxury dinghy tender is the newest addition to Williams’ high-end dinghies. It can very comfortably sit in style 7 adults and 1 child in its 5.05 meter LOA, and it’s suitable for use in yachts 30 meters plus in length. The diesel turbo engine is very quiet and the light boat cruises very smoothly even on a moderately choppy waters. The dinghy tender is very gorgeous to match the most expensive yacht at the same time very reliable for coastal cruising.
The 285 Turbojet
For smaller luxury yachts measuring 12 to 16 meters, the 285 Turbojet is suitable. Its smaller LOA of 2.85 meters and the 98 horsepower engine allows the dinghy tender to be very agile and yet quiet on the water. It can carry 3 adults and a child, and it can also be used as high performance motorboat because of its sporty looks and size. If you’re only planning to use the luxury dinghy as tender, then the lighter 72 horsepower variant is perfect for you.
The 325 Turbojet
For performance, the Williams 325 Turbojet can throttle from 0 to 20 knots in 4 seconds and can maintain a top speed of 40 knots. The dinghy tender can seat 4 adults and 1 child in its 3.30 meter LOA, and it’s a perfect match for 16 meters plus long luxury yachts. The boat is stable enough that you don’t need a special ramp to embark and disembark from it.
The 445 Turbojet
And then there’s the 445 Turbojet suitable for 20 meters plus long high-end yachts, which can seat 6 adults and 1 child with enough room for luggage in front. The 445 Turbojet’s 98-horsepower engine is perfect for waterskiing and reliable enough for coastal cruising.
